Analysis and scope
User roles, data fields, business rules and exceptions are defined. Each screen's functions and acceptance criteria are documented. First-release essentials are separated from later improvements; development does not begin with an ambiguous feature list.
Development approach
Once screen drafts are approved, we develop data structures, permissions and workflows. External connections are assessed for API access, data formats and failure cases. Feedback is collected through working interim releases.
Testing, delivery and next steps
We test role-based access, data validation, basic load scenarios and critical operations. Source code handover, hosting, backups, documentation and maintenance responsibilities are specified in the agreement. Changed business rules and new modules are additional development. Timing and cost are based on the scope established during analysis.
